Celebrating Father’s Day 2017 at KidZania with LBC

Celebrating Father's Day 2017 at Kidzania with LBC

Before the week ends, let me tell you about how we celebrated Father’s Day. To start our day, I dressed up Twinkle in a shirt that says “Styled By Dad” (followed by a small writing that says” just kidding mom dressed me” LOL!). We woke up early and had a brief breakfast at IHOP before heading to Kidzania.

This was the first Father’s Day I celebrated with my fellow Kumare Bloggers Badet and Levy….

… with the Kumpares and the kids in tow. After all, this day is all about the men of the house (and our hearts, naks!)

Our first stop is of course, LBC.

LBC has set out to bring joy in every “padala” they fulfill. In their very own way, LBC joined KidZania this past weekend in celebrating the man of the house with special activities for kids and their dads.

Here at the courier service establishment in KidZania, designed as a mini-LBC Express branch, kids and their dads worked together in receiving and boxing parcels and shipping them out around the city. Ykaie and her daddy set out to pick-up parcels from two establishments.

Their first stop was Philippine Daily Inquirer…

…followed by the second stop at Mercury Drug

To make sure Ykaie and her daddy can enjoy their bonding time, we left Twinkle with Lani at the toddler play area. It’s nice that they have this play aarea for those who are too young to join the activities. Don’t worry Twinkle, you’ll bee four soon and can join ate in the activities.

Their next stop: Magnolia Ice Cream, where in they enjoyed making and eating a cup of vanilla ice cream…

Then Yellow Cab Pizza wherein they enjoyed making personal Hawaiian Pizza which I helped them eat….

I think peanutbutter got tired of roaming around KidZania because he wanted to take a nap and rest at the parent’s lounge. Well, it’s a good thing he did, because….

LBC set up a special booth in the city where kids got to write greeting postcards for their dads. Kids only needed to pay using their kidZos – KidZania’s official currency. After writing, they could hand their custom postcards personally to their dads who accompanied them to KidZania.

OR As a special Father’s Day treat, kids could also surprise their dads by sending their greeting postcards for FREE, with LBC shipping them within Metro Manila right to their doorstep… which is what we did.

Then Ykaie went through more activities like the Century Tuna Marine Research Lab.

She did some painting at the National Design and Art Academy…

She made cheeseburger at McDonald’s..

All these while Twinkle and daddy watches a show at the ABS-CBN Theater.

We had such an enjoyable Father’s Day at Kidzania. peanutbutter may not admit it but I know deep inside he enjoyed every single minute playing with Ykaie.

Last Thursday, Ykaie’s postcard from Kidzania was delivered by LBC here at home. peanutbutter was surprised and touched by Ykaie’s message. He hugged Ykaie and said that he will always play with her whenever she wants to.

LBC once again has proved that they are always ready to send love and happiness by connecting lives – whatever the reason or the occasion. This postcard is now posted inside the cabinet for us to remember that special Father’s Day celebration we had at KidZania.

Thanks to LBC for sending out this post card at home.
