Enchanted Kingdom in Sta. Rosa, Laguna

Our trip to Enchanted Kingdom wasn’t planned at all. We just saw the Wheel of Fate {that’s what they call the ferris wheel} sticking out of nowhere, while we are on our way to the Manila exit, going home from Nuvali.

And peanutbutter♥ just blurted out “Let’s go to Enchanted ”

“What’s Enchanted?” Ykaie asked.

I told her it’s a big theme park, the Philippine’s version of Disneyland. A smile lights up her face, she nodded and there we were.

The ticket prices for Ride-All-You-Can is:

Regular Day Pass:

Weekend / Holiday Rate: ₱600.00
Weekday Rate: ₱500.00

Junior Day Pass:

Weekend / Holiday Rate: ₱320.00
Weekday Rate: ₱250.00

Junior Day Pass is applicable to children between 36” to 47” tall. Children 35” and under are FREE according to the floor stand display which they use to measure up the height of the children. Ykaie got in for ₱250.00.

Our first ride is , of course, the Grand Carousel as it is the first one that greets you upon entry.

Next is this ride, which I forgot the name of. Ykaie rode it solo as there weren’t a lot of people at Enchanted Kingdom that day.

Sky Fun Amusement Park at Sky Ranch Tagaytay

When you are with a child, specially one that you really adore, it’s impossible to pass by an amusement park and not allow her to go in even if it’s at noon and it’s so hot out. So we dropped by the Sky Fun Amusement Park inside the not-quite-finished Sky Ranch.

The Entrance Fee is ₱100 but at that time it’s on a 50% discount promotion and all three of us were only charged ₱150.

But that was just the entrance fee, you have to buy tickets individually for each ride as they still don’t have a ride-all-you-can ticket unlike in other amusement parks.

The first thing that caught our eyes is the Sky Eye or Tagaytay Eye. Currently, the Tagaytay Eye is tallest Ferris Wheel in the country measuring 63 meters or 207 ft. It has 32 gondolas, beating the MOA Eye which measures 55 meters or 180 ft with 36 gondolas.

The ride at the Tagaytay Eye is ₱150 per person. Yup, that’s really expensive considering a ride is just one loop around, which lasts for 10 minutes. but it was just right for my peanutbutter♥ who hates heights.

Didi you notice the Taal Volcano in the background? At this point, he couldn’t wait for the ride to be done. I was sure he will be needing his premium cigars after this ride… good thing he didn’t.

SM By The Bay Amusement Park {SMBY}

After our adventures in Seriland, we decided to go to the SMBY or Sm By The Bay Amusement Park in Sm Mall of Asia.

It is a 1.5km long stretch located behind SM Mall of Asia which feautures 16 unique rides for the whole family.It is considered as Storyland’s 7^th theme park that offers thrilling rides such as the Nessi Coaster, Super Viking and a lot more.

Ykaie, Chellie and Shy decided to try the WOW BALLS. These are huge inflatable balls that would allow them to walk over the water without getting wet. Ykaie was scared to stand up during her WOW Ball moment.

She was all sweaty when she came out after 5 minutes…..

Kids are always hungry during times like these. Everybody wanted some french fries after the wow balls….
