Kiddie Garage Sale by Ykaie, Cyra, and Cyvrine

Ykaie, Cyra, and Cyvrine had a Garage Sale in fron t of the house last week. They sold old toys, headbands, wallets, and whatnots which they don’t like anymore. These are things accumulated when we moved in to our new house a month ago. We chose the toys that Ykaie still liked and those that she doesn’t like anymore were thrown in a big box and set aside. The toys in the big box are those that were sold at this kiddie garage sale.

Things were sold for a very cheap price. Some are only priced at ₱1! Some are for ₱5 and ₱10, the most expensive ones.

I remember how much fun Ykaie had when she had he first garage sale (Garage Sale ni Ykaie) back in 2010 when she was still 2 years old!

I also have fun looking after them during their garage sale. I love how they anwswer when someone asks them how much an item is. I believe the garage sale teaches them enterpreneurial drive even subconsciously. Hey, they’re just children and I know to them all of these are just play.

Learn and Play with Meadow Kids

A couple of weeks ago, we received a package from our friends from Meadow Kids containing two boxes of craft kits for Ykaie. One is the Fairies & Teddy Bears Stamps and Scenes and the other is the Fashion Designer Kits.

Meadow Kids is a company that is committed through products that contribute positively to the lives of their end customers, the child and their family. Their products are designed to be played whilst interacting and communicating at home and they believe that some of the best education can be had whilst playing. Their core value is ‘Learn and Play’!

All Meadow Kids creations are designed to enhance family interaction and stimulate cognitive development. These are designed in the UK and are made for children 2-8 years old.

Ykaie and her cousins became excited the moment we received the package because they already know that the contents are for them. Both products came in a colorful packaging and well-designed boxes to store the items after playing.

After Playing at the Johnson’s Shadow Playground

You’d think Ykaie and Cyra will get exhausted after playing under the sun at the Johnson’s Shadow Playground , but they were still ready for more activities when we left the play area. They told me they wanted some kiddie rides. Since I am the one who’s exhausted because of the hot noon sun and the running around, I told them that they can only have one ride and then we’ll be off to get the pancakes they were requesting.
