My Good Friend, Brenice.

I missed having coffee with Brenice. She’s been my friend for the longest time {since first year highschool}. Life has gotten so busy that we were able to see each other annually. Good thing we were able to meet and catch up with each others lives last Satuday.

Over coffee, a slice of Blueberry cheesecake, and turtle pie we talked about the things that are happening to us lately, the husbands, and a few things at work. Life is so different. We are so different from what we were in highschool. I miss talking to her. She’s just one of those people who I can talk freely to and be myself without fear of being judged. And I think it’s the same with her.

We talked about going out on a regular basis. It’s about time we do some girl bonding.

Ykaie and Margaux

I believe that children should have pets while growing up. They should experience how to take care of a pet, whether small or big, feed them, play with them and watch them grow.

At a very young age, I’ve observed Ykaie being fond of animals. So I encourage her by letting her keep her own pet. She had a number of pets all throughout her five years. She’s had chicks, a rabbit, an hermit crab, different kinds of fishes and her latest, a turtle.

The one in the photo with her is not our dog but my Aunt’s. That’s Tita Eva’s dog, Margaux, named after Maja Salvador’s character in the telenovela Ina, Kapatd, Anak.

Ykaie’s very fond of her because she’s one playful dog and she’s furry and cute.

Honestly, I don’t know how to take care of a dog because when I was growing up, my mother doesn’t want animals inside the house — not even a turtle. But I want to have a dog someday…

Maybe when peanutbutter♥ stops working overseas and stays here with us in the Philippines. We need a four-legged member of the family but I need someone to help me take care of it.

Yay! desktop PC is Fixed and I Received a Card

Yay! I’m back using my desktop PC!

Just finished reformatting it. Whew! I am so glad to be back using this again cause I’m not that comfortable using my netbook when it comes to blogging. The screen is so small and it simply just won’t do specially when I’m looking at photos. Just like yesterday, when I was looking at this photo of an equestrian and his horse. I couldn’t see how beautiful the horse and the surrounding was, unlike when I’m looking at it now in a 19-inch screen.

Oh, BTW, I got this from the mail yesterday…

It’s a holiday card yesterday from a blogger friend from Japan, mommy Clang. It’s so sweet of her to send a greeting card. I was surprised and touched at the same when I read the message inside.

Thanks mommy Clang! Happy New Year to you and your family, as well!
