Halloween in our Neighborhood,2011

We arrived home at quarter to seven in the evening from Trick or Treat-ing at the mall.

And just after stepping out of the cab and heading off to the fridge {which I wished was a whirlpool refrigerator ,btw} to get a drink. Ykaie wanted to change into her pirate costume to join the neighborhood Trick or Treating.

And she did..together with little Cyvrine. Cyra didn’t wanna join in the fun. I guess she was more tired than these two.

Kudos to the neighborhood youth club for organizing the event for the kids. They even went from house to house to make sure that each is aware of the Trick or Treat-ing.

Only the kids in costume can join and those who are not, well, they can watch….

The children were paired and paraded all around the neighborhood and the next two streets.

TRICK or TREAT-ing at The Mall 2011

Last Sunday, sis and I was able to take the kids Trick or Treat-ing at the mall. Cyvrine wore Ykaie’s costume when she was two which was the ladybug. Cyra wore a monster costume and Ykaie came as a Pirate.

Ykaie’s costume was supposed to be her Halloween costume last year but she got sick so we weren’t able to go Trick or Treating. Instead of buying her a new one, I just let her use it.

I wanted to check out some lodge furniture but decided on another time. I had a feeling that it’s going to be a busy day and it was.

Most of the stores gave out candies to kids in costumes but there are some who did not. I think those stores missed out all the fun.

I forgot the name of these stores but thanks for the candies!

It’s Halloween at the Mall

We went shopping for ingredients yesterday and it was so nice to see that Halloween decorations are up at the mall.

There were lots of people at the mall too. I don’t know if its because yesterday was a friday or if its because it’s payday for some.

I guess a few of them are doing their Halloween shopping and some are doing their early Christmas shopping. But with all the people around and with the shopping season , we all have to be careful and take a few steps to prevent electronic pickpocketing.

Have I told you I love pumpkins?

Well, I do and I also love Jack O’lantern Pumpkins!

I swear, I will make one someday…

But right now, I will have to settle for those pumpkins on display….
