I kinda like exercising…

Congratulations to me!

Yesterday I tried doing the Hip Hop Abs Fat Burning cardio which was about a 30 minutes work-out and I lasted for only 20 minutes. That means I’m really out of shape and out of exercise. I was out of breath halfway through the work-out.

Today is different, though. I just finished doing the Fat Burning Cardio and the 6-minute abs. I couldn’t really jive with the moves yet but I’m absolutely sure I’ll match them real soon.

Doing these exercises is kinda liberating and it energizes me.

A Healthy New Year

Like most people, specially women, one my New Year’s resolution is to lose weight. This is actually a yearly resolution which I happen to fail each year.

I’d like to think I succeeded last year because at the beginning of 2011, I was 168lbs and today I begin 2012 at 158 lbs. It was a 10lbs weight loss but it wasn’t evident. I tipped the scale at 140 lbs by May 2011 but I gained it all when we took a few of vacations here and there.

So why do I want to lose weight? Of course, it was for vanity reasons but now, I’m gunning for health. I know I’m not getting any younger and I don’t feel good with my body. I sometimes feel that I can’t breathe and that I’m having heartburns. It’s scary.

I was contemplating on going to the gym because let’s admit it, my “work” doesn’t give me room for movements and exercise. I get too lazy to exercise at home too.

I saw a gym near my place last week, I don’t know how long its’ been there. I think they offer a pretty affordable rate and they also offer Yoga. Hmmmnn.. that’s something to think about, and I think I could give it 2hrs per day.

I’ll start my diet on monday and if I could get myself to exercise at home then that’s good, if not, I will try this Yoga thing and see if i could fine my center.
