Jollitown Kiddie Fair with Twinkle

I was equally excited as Twinkle when we took her to the Jollitown Kiddie fair last Sunday. It was 9 years ago when Daddydoodledoo and I took Ykaie to the same event.

Like all kids, Twinkle loves Jollibee so she was really happy to be a part of this kiddie event. Throughout the years, Jollibee has never failed to give parents and their kids special bonding moments they’ll cherish all their lives. The Jollitown Kiddie Fair aims to create even more memories for Jollibee fans!

Tickets to this event are available for only ₱150 with every purchase of any Jolly Spaghetti product or Jollibee Kids Meal in select Jollibee stores.

Jollibee and Friends had a special dance number. After the dance number, the activities opened and we eagerly lined up to try the ones Twinkle liked. Kids can become Jollibee crew members for a day in the MiniBee, a mini Jollibee store set-up, and serve their favorite meals! They can play and learn at the giant Jollitown Puzzle House and solve some brain teasers.

First she tries was the Fry-nd The Treasure to search for jolly treasures.

For even more fun prizes, Yum’s Claw Machine is there to give them another kind of challenge pero hindi sya mahirap unlike the ones at the arcade. After 3 tries lang yata, Twinkle was able to get a Jollibee stuffed toy. But she wasn’t able to get a prize at the Chickenjoy Bucket Throw wherein you have to shoot a “chickenjoy” inside the bucket three times.

She also tried the Spag-o-Wired game and avoid the Jolly Spaghetti wire to win prizes but she lost. We saw Lottie B at the event at nagpa-picture kami. Ang bait naman nya and nagpa-picture sya with Twinkle. Then she bounced around in Popo’s inflatables.

The last activity she tried was Twirlie’s Face Painting Booth. Ang cute ng face painting nya!

OMG! We really enjoyed the event. Hopefully we’ll be back next year.

Promil 4 iShine 7 Recital : #CelebrateTheGift

We are so proud that Ykaie is now an i-Shiner Graduate!

It’s been both an exciting and exhausting week for us but it was definitely worth it. It was a great experience for Ykaie whose imagination was kept rolling all throughout her Art classes. I’m glad she made new friends and has a new experience she’ll never be able to forget.

A big thanks to Teacher Robert Alejandro who guided her and made her feel comfortable, and challenged, her creativity and imagination.

After two days of rehearsal, we were so excited to attend and see the recital of all the i-Shiner graduates last Friday. Feeling ko nga mas excited pa kami kay Ykaie.

there she is! Art Camp QC Afternoon class..

Syempre, not only the proud parents are there to see the recital. Kasama rin namin ang super duper proud sister Twinkle who was yelling ” Ate Ykaie!! Ate Ykaie!! There! There!” everytime she sees her ate on stage.

The recital began with a dance number from G-Force and then an introduction of all the camps and the i-Shiners.

Art Camp

For their presentation, they showed what they did the last day of camp which is —- a life-size set of colorful wings!

Then, Teacher Kara Escay presented what they did on the fourth day of art camp — remember they made small structures, planes, cars, and jeepneys??? (That pink Jeepney was the one Ykaie did.) They made this for a life size Tunnel Book.

A Tunnel Book is a book that’s composed of layers. Everyone gathered inside the tunnel book for a photo opp after. Galing ng Art Camp!

The Theatre Camp presented two stories: The Lion and the Mouse & The Boy Who Cried Wolf. Ang galing ng mga kids. They memorized all their dialogues and their acting was really good.

The Ballet Camp showed their graceful dances in three songs….

The Music Camp sang two original songs by their mentor Mr. C.

and the Dance Camp which has the most i-Shiners showed off their dancing skills in four presentations….

The recital ended with a dance number from all the mentors.

The Promil 4 iShine 7 Recital wrapped up with a photo from each Camp. Here’s Art Camp once again with all Teacher Robert Alejandro and Teacher Kara Escay.

I love Promil 4 IShine Talent Camp because it really stayed true about what Promil is all about which is nurturing the gift of our kids. Ykaie is already 11 years old so this is her last year of joining and Twinkle is just 4 years old this year. I have to wait for two more years before she could join the camp but I am observing her and I can see that she’s more of a dancer at this stage of her childhood.

Ykaie’s Promil Four iShine Camp 7 Art Camp Experience

The last two weeks has been both exciting and exhausting for Ykaie and the whole family. This is the first time (and the last, because she’s 11 now… si Twinkle naman next year) she’s joined Promil 4 iShine Camp Art Camp.

Art Camp was held at Papemelroti’s main branch in Quezon City. Ykaie took the afternoon slot which was 1:00pm – 3:30pm. peanutbutter♥ and I took turns in taking her to and fetching her from her classes. There was a waiting area there where parents could wait while their kids are creating what they can imagine.

Day 1

The class was facilitated by Teacher Robert Alejandro.

On her first day, she got her hands dirty and created something our of her imagination. They turned a simple 2D drawing into a 3D sculpture.

Day 2

Day 2 activity was PRINTMAKING! They drew sea creatures and printed them on paper!

Day 3

On the third day, the kids turned into “Entomologists”. They drew some insects on paper and created their very own 3D insects.

Day 4

On day four, Ykaie painted this jeep! It’s cute no? She asked me to guess which one was her work among all the different structures and I guessed correctly.

Day 5

All the kids worked together on something they would present at the Promil 4 iShine Camp Recital.

It was such a fun week. Ykaie had the time of her life and she made new friends too.

Next up is the rehearsal and finally the kids Recital!! Grabe! Mas excited pa yata ako sa Recital kesa kay Ykaie.
