My tatay was a die-hard Chuck Taylor All Star fan. He makes sure he always has three colors of it all the time: Black, Red, and White. Because of that I grew up owning a pair of Chuck Taylor All Star –but it was always in black so I could pair it up with all my clothes.

Two weeks ago, we were invited by Converse Philippines at The Jump Yard in Frontera Verde Complex for the launch of Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Loopholes . I didn’t know where it was located and I didn’t want to commute so I brought peanutbutter♥ and Twinkle with us.

Ykaie’s Adventure at KidZania Manila

This is another one of my long-overdue post: Ykaie’s adventure at KidZania Manila.

Ykaie had been wanting to go to KidZania Manila since it opened last August 2015 but we were able to go in September, the next month. I think destiny conspired us to go because I won KidZania tickets for two adults in one of the events I attended. The tickets were dated and must be used, besides what we need to buy is just one more ticket for Ykaie… and so… with three-month old Twinkle in tow, off we went to KidZania.

Ticket Prices

You may buy tickets as walk-in Visitors on the day of your visit. Tickets are on a first come, first served basis. Ticket counters open at 8AM. OR you can also buy tickets from Ticketworld.

Starting The KidZania Adventure

After buying tickets at the KidZania International Airport which is the entrance, all of us were strapped with security bracelets including Twinkle. Ykaie was given a check for 50 Kidzos (KidZania’s currency) and the city map.

First things first upon entering KidZania was to encash the check at BPI so she’ll have Kidzos to use. As you all know, there are a lot of activities inside KidZania. You need to pay in some of those activities to be able to participate while joining some of the activities will earn you more Kidzos.

Ykaie Loves Being A McDonald’s Kiddie Crew 2015

1st Day

Ykaie and I are avid fans of McDonald’s. She loves Chicken McNuggets and I am loyal to my number one favorite since I was 12 — the Big Mac. When I was still single and younger, and I drop by McDonalds for a quick meal during the Summer, I often see kids greet me at the door and help assemble my order. I find it too cute and at that time, I made a mental note to enroll my would-be child at the time to this program.

Fast forward to 2013, I enrolled 5 year old Ykaie to the McDonald’s Kiddie Crew Workshop and she loved every single day. She wanted to do it again last year (2014) but I wasn’t able to enroll her. I guess it was because she took swimming lessons and I was a bit busy with our house construction.
