This blog was born because I want a place where I can chronicle photos of Ykaie and the things that happens to her and us a family.

And now, it has come to a point that I want more out of this blog that just a compilation of photos.

I want this to be about our family.

I want this to be about me — as a wife to peanutbutter♥ and as a mommy.

I want this to be about our marriage.

I want this to be about positive parenting.

I want this to about peanutbutter♥ being a daddy to Ykaie.

I want this blog to hold feelings and experiences and not just photos…

I’ve been reading a lot these past couple of weeks and I’d like to apply all that I’ve read in my life and share it with the world, except………. I have this fear of over sharing and of being judged.

I think it’s about time I let go of that fear and just share my thoughts away…

Ykaie’s Recognition Day 2013

And just like that our one month is up.

Yesterday, we took peanutbutter♥ to the airport. We’ve been doing this thing for four years now but it doesn’t get easier. Saying goodbye after a month of being with your significant other is hard…. and it gets harder each year.

That is why for a whole month, I make sure that I give peanutbutter♥ my undivided attention, time, love and care. I don’t blog when he’s here on vacation.

Now, I’m back and I’ll tell you everything that happened the moment he arrived.

peanutbutter♥ arrived on Ykaie’s Recognition Day.

The three kids are in their Summer Attire because they have a presentation before the ceremony.

Ykaie led the opening prayer and after that their “Summer Presentation” began. They danced to Summer songs and Disney songs…

..and of course, they cha-cha-cha! like Ryzza Mae Dizon of Eat Bulaga!

Working At Home

Being a work at home mommy is not an easy job. When I decided to let go of our small internet cafe and decided to dip my feet into being a work at home mom, I thought, how bad can it be?. I would just do some freelance writing at home and then do my household chores and take care of Ykaie’s needs. It’s gonna be easy cause I can multitask anytime, anywhere.

Boy, was I wrong. Being a work-at-home-mom is hard! You won’t be able to concentrate on writing when your kid suddenly approaches you with a problem — which is, like, always! After all, they always see you’re just sitting there in front of the computer. Multitasking is hard when you’ve been given assignments because then you’ll need to focus to make each task, your best one.

I thing I need a workflow management software to keep me on my toes with time management.
