One Thursday Afternoon at BGC

I had somewhere to go to at BGC last thursday. Normally, if I’m going alone, specially around Makati are, I prefer commuting because it’s faster and it is simpler. I would ride the bus, then the MRT/LRT and then take cab.

But last thursday, Sis, Ykaie and Cyra decided to go with me…

I had to drive and take a car. I don’t really like driving around BGC because I don’t know my way around but since peanutbutter♥ isn’t around, I don’t really have a choice.

Our first stop after the parking area on 9th? The playground across it….

Children love playgrounds no matter how new, old, ugly, weird, or cute it is. As long as there are slides, see-saws, something to climb onto, and swings — they will have fun.

Waiting for Daddy at Nurture Spa, Tagaytay

As you all know, after Ykaie’s Recognition Day, we immediately headed over to the Discovery Country Suites in Tagaytay where we had a two-day reservation. While there, peanutbutter♥ decided to get a massage at Nurture Spa to be more relaxed. He deserves a good massage, after all, it’s been almost a year since he got some.

Nurture Spa has a small playground for kids right smack in the middle and that’s where Ykaie and I decided to wait for daddy. He’s gonna be inside for at least an hour so she has one hour to play.

She decided on jumping at the trampoline and had a good 30 minutes before she got tired. She told me she’s thirsty and wanted some ice cream. We went to the café but they weren’t serving ice cream.

So, how did I get an ice cream for Ykaie? I ordered their Apple Turon ala Mode and then had the vanilla ice cream which was supposedly topping the turon served separately.

Then I asked for some Tarragon tea to go with my Turon and had a good chat with my darling daughter while waiting.

Giant Cartoon Fun & The Science of Cartoons at the NIDO Fortified Science Discovery Center

Today, Ykaie and I went to the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center and were among the first ones to enjoy and experience The Science of Cartoons.

Like every other kid I know, Ykaie loves Ben 10, Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, and Gumball and Darwin from The Amazing World of Gumball.

The Science of Cartoons serves as a treat for families, and offers a great way to have fun while putting kids’ creative skills to work.

Kids can play with their imagination in a giant cartoon-making activity that involves building the Giant Ben 10 and other Cartoon Network favorites.
