Twinkle’s Recognition Day 2024

My cutie patootie Twinkle just graduated from 2nd grade! It was such a big day for our little girl, and let me tell you, she was very happy (kasi bakasyon na raw..LOL). ‍

The ceremony at LCC was filled with proud parents and excited kiddos. Twinkle practically beamed when she got her medal (pretty sure she skipped instead of walked across that stage, haha!). We knew all that hard work throughout the year would pay off! Syempre super proud kami ni Daddydoodledoo.

After the ceremony, we all headed to Yabu to celebrate with some yummy Katsu and Mozzarella Sticks! You know, gotta reward all that brain power with some delicious food, right?

Twinkle had a blast catching up with her classmates and of course, stuffing her face with Mozzarella Sticks. It was the perfect way to end such a special day.

Congratulations again to our little Twinkle! We are all so incredibly proud of you and all that you’ve accomplished this year. Here’s to an amazing 3rd grade!

The Little Plant

I recently had the heartwarming pleasure of watching my daughter on stage in her school recital of “The Little Plant.” They did it as a whole section and they wore this cute little plant costume with their faces as flowers.

This is how the poem goes….

The Little Plant

In the heart of a seed,
Buried deep, so deep,
A dear little plant
Lay fast asleep.

“Wake!” said the sunshine,
“And creep to the light.”
“Wake!” said the voice
Of the raindrops bright.

The little plant heard,
And it rose to see
What the wonderful
Outside world might be.

“The Little Plant” is a charming story about a tiny sprout who longs to reach for the sunlight. Facing challenges and obstacles along the way, the little plant perseveres, ultimately discovering its own unique strength and potential. My daughter really had fun wearing the costume and reciting the poem with her classmates.

More than just a performance, “The Little Plant” became a learning experience for my daughter. She embraced the collaborative spirit working with her classmates and teachers. Seeing her perform filled me with a sense of pride and gratitude.

This experience reminded me of the magic of theater, the power of storytelling, and the importance of nurturing our children’s talents and passions. So, if you have a little performer in your life, encourage them to embrace the stage, let their creativity bloom, and remember, every seed holds the potential to become a magnificent flower.

Twinkle’s Field Trip 2023: Paradise Adventure Camp

This is Twinkle’s first ever field trip and it’s at Paradise Adventure Camp —- kung saan din nag-field trip si ate Ykaie before.!

Alam nyo naman she started school during the pandemic kaya lockdown and nabuhay tayo sa online classes. This year lang nakapag-full face to face classes and finally was able to go on a field trip.

We arrived there around 8am and nagutom ang Twinkle when she saw the hotdog. Ayan napakain ng 2nd breakfast. The coffee was mine.

A little goofy picture taking here and there after which I found out that there’s water activity pala. I thought they’re going swimming lang if there’s extra time after the activities. Buti na lang they are selling clothes for swimming, towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner. And the photo on the right will show her wearing ang mga nabili namin na kasya sa kanya.. hihihi

They did lots of activities like memory games, relays, and other games na kasama kaming parents. After that, they were allowed on the kayak for 30 minutes.

After 30 minutes swimming time na! Lunch time was at 12pm. We brought baon that day but they also sell lunch food at the cafeteria like Sinigang and Adobo.

After lunch came the other activities like planting and watering the plants.

We also visited the different museums inside Paradise Adventure Camp.

There’s also animal feeding. You can by feeds for Cows, ducks, and chickens for ₱10 each.

Twinkle was very excited to do the zipline! It was higher and more dangerous than what I remember but it was also more exciting. The last thing they did was make a towel art and do a simple obstacle course.

It was a super tiring but fun day for Twinkle. She slept on the bus on the way home. I think we got home around 7:30pm na.

So there. That’s what you can expect when you go on a field trip at Paradise Adventure Camp.
