It’s gonna be back to school for the kids in a little more than two weeks. The family has a couple more outings to go to before the kids hit the books once again. As early as now, I’m setting Ykaie’s mind with some fun school activities like tracing numbers, colorings and reading stories with a question and answer portion after. She is still learning how to read so that’s what we do most of the time.
Children’s minds are like sponges, they absorb everything! Sometimes, the problem is where do you get the activity or the lessons that you want them to learn. Or if the activity that you get fits their level. Scholastic Printables provides lessons, worksheets and practice pages for all levels. They have over 15,000 award winning lessons and worksheets for learners of all ages including reading, 2nd grade math worksheets and 3rd Grade Math Worksheets.
You can get it at a very affordable rate too! Aside from that, you can also get lessons plans, assessment tools and event award certificates to inspire your young learners.

For a 10-year old boy with a genius I.Q. and so much potential, you would think that he would prefer conventional schooling over home education. But Darrell Tan is a proof that learning within the four walls of the home actually equates to learning with no walls—no boundaries in discovering knowledge and experiences of the world beyond. “What I like best about homeschooling—I enjoy learning from my parents, which is why we are close. I have the biggest classroom in the world because I can take my work anywhere. I can also have more activities, like chess, sports, etc. I have many friends of all ages,” as Darrell declares.
