Twinkle’s Advance Birthday Celebration at Vista Al Sol

Twinkle is 8! Ang bilis ng panahon no? Time really flies when you’re busy and having fun. Last June 18, we had an advance birthday celebration of Twinkle’s 8th Birthday at Vista Al Sol in Angat, Bulacan. Of course, it doubles as my sister’s birthday celebration as well.

If you will remember, we also had a family outing here at Vista Al Sol last year. We liked how fresh the water is that’s why we decided it would be nice to be back this year. They have, I think, three swimming pools and we got the biggest one last year. This time, we got the smaller one so it was cheaper. Day tour for 8am- 6pm is ₱6,000.

Our theme is “Emojis and Daisies” – pakana ni sis yan eh. Ewan anong konek ng emoji at daisy.. hahaha! Anyway, here are the amenities of our Vista Al Sol Place

  • swimming pool – for adult and for kids
  • 2 huts (walang room)
  • 1 dining hut with videoke
  • 2 restroom/shower
  • stove (+₱300 if using)
  • grill for ihaw
  • cooler
  • pet friendly (+₱500, if bringing pets)
  • you can buy ice and water here

And because this is a birthday celebration nga, Twinkle requested the hotdog and marshmallows and that Jollibee Spaghetti. We also have Pork Ribs Adobo, Bistek, Duck Adobo, Shrimp, Minatamis na Kamoteng Kahoy with Langka.

Syempre hindi mawawala ang mga inihaw: Liempo and Chicken Barbecue at Salt and Pepper Liempo. may Inihaw na Tilapia at Bangus pa yan but I forgot to take a picture.. hihihi

Fun in the Sun

We didn’t bring our pets this time since we have three beagles na: Coffee, Chocnut, and Cookie. They are a little bit hard to manage and hindi na kami kasya sa car…huhuhu.

FINAL THOUGHTS:

What I Like About Vista Al Sol:

  • The area is big enough for large number of people. (maximum is 15 people)
  • The pool is big and has continuous running water
  • There is a grill and you can rent a stove and buy distilled water.
  • It’s close to nature.

What I Don’t Like About Vista Al Sol:

  • The way there is not cemented and in between fields na kasyang-kasya lang ang isang sasakyan.
  • Super small restrooms
  • No room included.

Vista Al Sol in Angat, Bulacan

Vista Al Sol

PAGASA announced that it’s the start of rainy season last May 18 — pero heto kami humahabol pa ng swimming last May 21 at Vista Al Sol in Angat, Bulacan. This is the first extended family swimming after such a long time. Last time we did this was at Costierra Garden Resort in Malabon.

Day tour lang naman sya, we were there at 8am to 5pm and it costs ₱9,000. The resort has a big pool and a kiddie pool. What I love about it is that the pool has continuous running water jus like in My Cabin By Selah. So hindi makati ang tubig at hindi rin ma-chlorine.

As you can see, FRUITS ang theme namin this swimming..

You can bring your pets at Vista Al Sol kaya naman syempre kasama pa rin si Coffee at Chocnut — kaya lang the resort is not closed pala. It’s open! Hindi pa naman namin nadala ang cage nila kaya ayan naka-leash sila at hindi mapakawalan at baka mapunta sa ilog….

Our Baon

Medyo marami kaming baon — My Pork Ribs Adobo, alimasag(?), Adobong tahong ni sis, Shrimp, Minatamis na Saging, Minatamis na Kamoteng kahoy, candies, at kung nagtataka kayo kung para saan yung suka sa gilid, Nag-ihaw din kami ng fish, pork, at chicken. I wasn’t able to take pictures kasi busy na.

My Cabin By Selah

My Cabin By Selah

Our stay at My Cabin By Selah was last November pa pero ngayon ko lang na-share kasi.. Bakit nga ba?.. there are too many photos to go through… LOL! Anyway, we booked this because ang tagal ng hindi nakakalabas ng mga kids back then and I wanted to take them swimming. Because we’re in the middle of the pandemic, I wanted to go to a resort that is private — meaning kaming family lang ang nandoon, pretty, and syempre that allows pets because we can’t leave our pets behind.

That’s when I found My Cabin By Selah — located in Bustos, Bulacan — ang lapit pa sa amin!

We booked the Medium Cabin for P10,700 per night. It can accommodate up to 8 persons. I booked this because the original plan was to bring my SIL, FIL, and my sister who calls herself Anney with us. Eh due to unforeseen circumstances, hindi sila nakasama that time so the cabin is really big for the four of us.  Dun lang kami natulog sa first floor lahat since the two beds has pull out beds. The cabin also has a toilet and bathroom, a small kitchen which has a microwave, induction cooker, rice cooker, ref, and electric kettle. It also has dinnerware and some cookware.

Meron ding grill sa labas and you can pay P100 (yata) for the charcoal. Sila na bahalang magsindi ng charcoal — maggi-grill ka na lang. O diba, very convenient?

Yan ang baon namin — Boneless bangus, Steak, and BBQ Liempo. Yung Batchoy nadaanan lang namin on the way tapos bumili si DaddyDoodleDoo.

KAWA HOT BATH

You can choose to have Kawa Hot Bath at night. They suggested it kasi daw more relaxing — perfect bago matulog. I think the payment for this is P200 — they put aromatheraphy oil sa kawa when they prepare it for you. Very relaxing nga because of the hot water and the smell of the oil.

Kami lang ni DaddyDoodleDoo ang nag-ganito because the kids didn’t like the hot water. Alam nyo na pag aging na… nasisiyahan sa hot water — LOL!

BONFIRE AND S’MORES

Of course may baon kaming pang s’mores so the bonfire at night is a must!

BIKING

We didn’t know there are bikes that you can borrow and ride on their small trail. We only saw it when we got there kaya naman ni-try nila DaddyDoodleDoo, Twinkle, At Ykaie.

Another memory deposited to our memory bank! We really enjoyed our stay here. The ambience is very relaxing and the staff are approachable and accommodating.
