Hongkong City Tour: Jewelry Factory

After the Avenue of Stars, the tour guide also took us to the Jewelry factory and a store that sells local products. These are not tourist spots but is included in the compulsory city tour. I know that they have some kind of a commission if a tourist purchases something from the stores.

We don’t have any plans of purchasing anything and if we could have avoided joining the city tour we would. We just went around the store and checked out some nice pieces of jewelry.

I think we were an hour long in that store, so we just snuck into a corner and took photos..heehee

Next stop was the store which sells some local stuffs like food, toys and souvenirs. Items are pretty expensive here. Ykaie ate a lot of the chips for free tasting,LOL!

To avoid time wasters like these–we’ve decided..next tour would be a DIY Tour..

Hongkong City Tour: Avenue of Stars

After having a nice buffet breakfast at the hotel, We met our tour guide and boarded the bus for the compulsory City Tour.

Our first stop is the Avenue of Stars. It has the hand print of some of the finest films stars of Hongkong.

We also saw Jackie Chan’s store where they sell autographed memorabilias of Jackie Chan.

It was a brief stop, around 20-35 minutes. They just gave us time to take pictures..

Disneyland Resort,HongKong {Part3}

We watched this awesome 4D movie about Donald Duck trying to steal Mickey’s magic wand.

Ykaie was amazed at how she could “feel” everything that’s happening in the movie. She smelled things, felt the wind and even got wet a little with a sprinkle of water!

Just outside of Philhar Magic is Dumbo the Flying Elephant ride. Ykaie wanted to ride so we waited in line for 20 minutes. Ykaie even fell asleep online just as it was our turn. We had to wake her up.
