Kamay Ni Jesus Healing Church is a pilgrimage site located at the slopes of Mt. Banahaw.

There’s 292 steps going up to Kamay ni Hesus. Along the way, you’ll pass by numerous life size statues of the 14 Stations of the Cross.

This is the church at the foot of the slopes….it was very pretty inside this church.

But before you can even go and walk up to Kamay ni Jesus. You have to pass by the Garden of Eden….

There’s also an animal playground….

Pasalubong from Lucban, Quezon

The number one pasalubong one can bring home to family and friends here in Manila from Lucban is their Longganisa. It has a very unique flavor because it is made to ferment for a period of time developing a hint of sourness. It is made with pimenton and has a garlicky flavor.

I recommend buying at Eker & Ely. They make the most delicious longganisa….

Authentic Puto Seko — that’s one of the reasons to go to Lucban. Ven’s is a popular brand but I prefer Campitas.

The Pahiyas Festival 2012

When my sister and my brother {who are ten years and thirteen years older than me} were still children, they were able to go to Quezon at least twice because our relative on my father’s side has a realtive living there.

I don’t know how many Pahiyas Festival they were able to see but by the time I was born, my parents got busy with life and they didn’t go anymore. So it had been one of those listed in my bucket list to see the colorful festival in Lucban.

As you already know, the Pahiyas Festival is a very colorful festival that is celebrated every 15th of May in honor of San Isidro Labrador/ St. Louis, Bishop of Toulouse. It is the farmers’ thanksgiving for a bountiful harvest with a grand display of colorful rice wafers {kiping}, fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts adorning every house in the town.
