One Tagaytay Place
After having a nice lunch at Sonya’s Garden, we immediately went to One Tagaytay Place so we can rest. I made reservations to One Tagaytay because there were a lot of good reviews about the place and the price is not that expensive. Plus, seeing the photos from their website, I fell in-love with the pool..hah!
We had the One-bedroom Penthouse Suite which is normally priced at around P5900. But there was a promo called The Penthouse Suite Escape. The rate was P6,300 for four adults. We were five so there was an additional P1000. The two kids which are 3 yrs old {ykaie} and 5 yrs old {chellie} were free of charge.
The receiving area was converted to a bedroom to accommodate everyone.
My cousin gamely posed for me when I was taking a shot of the mini-dining area.
The welcome drinks: Four Seasons and Lemonade
Club Balai Isabel, Talisay Batangas
After going to Amana Waterpark Resort in Bulacan and Dad’s Resortin Malabon, we decided that another outing is just right to end our Summer. So off we went to Club Balai Isabel in Talisay Batangas.
We reserved the Ylang-Ylang Suite with Loft. The price for one night is P7,392 inclusive of breakfast. There’s a charge of P825/person in excess of 3 persons and room’s maximum capacity is six.
There’s a kitchenette equipped with microwave and fridge. You can bring some snacks to keep in the fridge and reheat later.
Bathroom has a tub…
The bed on the lower level where Ykaie and I had our forty winks…
stairs going to the loft…..
kakay and sis in one bed and Roman in the other..
Currently, Balai Isabel has three swimming pools….
This small pool…
Their “Infinity pool”….you have to be in the correct position for it to become an infinity pool…
and the Mobideep. This is not the original Mobideep, they said that the typhoon Ondoy tore down the original Mobideep so they rebuilt another one. What’s disappointing and frustrating about it is that they are charging P250 per person if you want to go for a swim here and it’s not even that pretty, I mean, the view is spectacular but that’s about it.
Balai Isabel is not a place I would go back to for a vacay. The restaurant staff gives very slow service. They are not very consistent, when we were checking out, the receptionists gave the guests that were checking in welcome drinks but we didn’t get any when we checked-in. The staff were courteous, though, from the guards to the waiters.
