Summer 2017 has began..woohoo!!!

Last year’s Summer escapade was in Ilocos for six days. This year, we have a schedule for three and it started in Anilao, Batangas the last week of March. Our first stop was, of course, Camp Netanya, which they say is the Little Santorini of Batangas because of its greek theme.

This trip was a bit difficult for me because three days before this trip, I’ve had consecutive high blood episodes which I experienced for the first time. I had a blood chem test the morning of our trip and my brother just texted me the results and what I had to do. All the first adjustments on my diet and some meds took place while I was on this trip… nakakaloka lang, diba?

I’m sure you’ve passed by 88 Hots Springs Resort once, twice, or a few times whenever you go to Laguna for a team building or a family excursion (do people still use this the word excursion?). If you haven’t been there, you might be wondering what’s inside.

Well, I was in the same boat as you but December last year, I were able to go on a staycation there with my ILs. From the outside, the resort looks so-so but inside was pretty impressive.

88 Hot Spring Resort is spread over a 7 hectare land situated right at the base of Mount Makiling in Calamba, Laguna.

Canyon Woods Resort Club, Tagaytay

Canyon Woods Resort Club, Tagaytay

After such a filling lunch at Bagoong Club in Twin Lakes, off we were to Canyon Woods. Along with the deal sis found for Canyon Cove, she also found a deal for Canyon Woods and so those became our back to back staycation for April.

After putting our luggages inside our room, we immediately went to check out the area where you can do sports and recreational activities. According to the front desk that’s the place where we would find the tennis court, mini- golf, and do fishing among other things. We got there through a shuttle from the clubhouse.

The place was kinda deserted when we got there. We found an empty events place and an old tennis court. I don’t think we can play tennis even if we wanted to because there was no one to ask around. There was a sort of pond in which two ducks live. I doubt if there was fish in there judging by its color.
