This is where we celebrated Ykaie’s 6th Birthday. Instead of our usual themed parties, Ykaie told me that she wanted to go swimming. Sis and I chose Estrellas de Mendoza because it is one of the resorts in our must-go-to list, so I made a reservation for a Cabana.

We left Caloocan at around 7am. I was the driver and my passengers were Sis, Rome, my nephew Kakay, and my MIL and FIL. I had no idea I will be driving for five (5) hours! W-ell, we got lost and detoured along the way but it was only for a short while. We arrived at Estrellas de Mendoza at around 12pm.

Check in time was 2pm but we were allowed to check-in as soon as we arrived. The resort/hotel lobby was really nice and since it’s November, they already have a big Christmas Tree at the center and many Christmas decors around.

This is not my first time to step foot at F1 Hotel Manila. I’ve been one of the lucky ones invited to try their Festive Chinese Buffet almost two years ago at the F Restaurant when F1 Hotel Manila was still called Best Western Premier F1 Hotel.

One of my best saturdays last month was spent here. I was one of the fortunate bloggers who were invited for a staycation.

F1 Hotel Manila is the first hotel to open up at Bonifacio Global City (BGC). It is right smack in the middle of where the action is — it is near the shopping center, business district, restaurants, hospital, and upscale boutiques.

Together with the other bloggers (and their families) who were invited, Mr. Tony Co and his staff personally welcomed us at the Premiere Lounge. He also told us about F1 Manila Hotel’s unique Christmas Spread that will soon grace their buffet tables.

Tidewater Resort in Matabungkay Beach (Part 4 – Goodbye)

Breakfast

This is what we looked like at breakfast the next day. Like what I said in part 1, we are in charge of cooking our own food.

So breakfast is this: instant coffee, hotdogs, vienna sausage and Gardenia Wheat Cranberry Loaf. Not the healthiest, I know but that’s the easiest thing to prepare.

Going Back into the Water

You know how kids are. We won’t be able to leave the resort without letting them go back into the water. So we wore our swimsuits after breakfast and headed to the swimming pool.
