I just added something on my most wanted list. The most wanted list is the list of things that I want to buy for my own happiness and satisfaction..kind of a “me” thing. The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8 L USM Lens tops that list, a luxury, I know. Something that I can only buy if there’s nothing more that I need or if ever I won the lottery because it’s really expensive.

Anyway, I just added a laptop at the end of that list but I think a laptop goes beyond “wants”. In my case, it is something I need. I just need to look for one with the right specs which would cater to what I do. Another question is, where can I buy discount computers? It needs to be affordable but of relatively high quality like that of a new one. Because as a parent, there’s only a certain budget that I can set aside for it. The rest goes to the family.

Ok, peanutbutter♥‘s vacation has left me with a 10-pound weight gain which I really want to lose as soon as possible. We ate lots of restaurant food when he was here and we also ate some of the fatty food that he missed like fried ruffle fat and deep fried pork knuckles {crispy pata}.

I am now on my first week of the “Oatmeal Breakfast Challenge” in which I plan to eat oatmeal for breakfast. I dress it up a little so it wouldn’t be boring for me and I won’t feel like I’m eating the same thing over and over again. I’m doing this to jumpstart my diet and give my body a rest from all those fatty food. While I’m at it, I am also on the look out for a diet pill that works, you know, something that would help me lose the weight and 10 lbs more?

Every time there’s a special occasion or we have a celebration, one of our favorite food on the table is roast hog. My daughter ykaie is scared of it but once it’s chopped into bite size pieces, she eats two servings of rice with it. Her favorite part is the oh-so-crispy skin. Well, actually, that’s everybody’s favorite part..LOL!

So whether it’s a wedding, birthday or a special event, we never fail to call a hog roast hire. Of course we always choose one with fully qualified chef, free range pork and  delicious hog roast.

Then we cook the leftovers into stew..
