It’s eleven more days and peanutbutter♥ is already a year in Dubai. I missed his birthday. He missed Christmas with us. We weren’t able to celebrate Valentines Day together. My only consolation is that he won’t be missing our fourth anniversary because he will be coming home. Now I’m excited to pick out an anniversary gift for him and maybe a few more for the occasions he’s missed. I’m sure I’m gonna be needing some Gift ideas.

What are the ideal gifts for men? The usual would be wallets, perfumes,shoes, shirts, wines and a spa massage. Well, those are the things that I gave him as a gift in the past. I maybe giving him two of those stuff and of course, one more for our anniversary. It has to be something different…hmmmmmnnn.. now that would get me thinking.

Should I give him jewelry? Or a unique experience…something along the lines of twilight sailing, a jet boat ride or a helicopter ride. Men love those stuffs. I bet he would really love them but I will still need to save for it.

I still have three months to decide, though.And a girl’s mind can change from time to time…hee

Like her daddy, mango is ykaie’s favorite fruit. I bought a kilo of mangoes for her the other day. One kilo equals four pieces of mangoes. I let her eat one of the mangoes yesterday morning and she said:

“mommy, three mangoes are left inside the fridge?”

“yup” I replied

“Can I have some more?” she asked.

So I sliced up a mango and gave her one of the cheeks

“mommy, only two mangoes are left inside the fridge, right?”

My heart wants to scream, my 3-year-old can already do math! Hee.

I know you may think I’m silly for being so happy for such a small thing but for me, it is kind of a big deal because she’s not yet schooling.

 

I have a friend who loves baking. She works at an office but she bake as a hobby. She loves baking a lot and her long term plans include having a bakery someday and resigning from work. Well, I think that’s a really great idea. One should really do what she loves for a living so she can do it for the rest of her life. Now, I’m not saying this because she is my friend, I’m saying this because I’ve tried her chocolate crinkle cookies and her brownies and find it uber delicious. {hint*hint*: free cookies for me LOL!}

Right what she does is bake some goodies like brownies, chocolate crinkles, carrot cake, red velvet cake, banana bread and sell it to her officemates in the office where she works. Her goodies are sold out everyday. So, she’s thinking of selling it outside of her office. In order to do that, she needs  to open up a business website where she can put pictures of her finished products and contact details. The website should allow her customers to place their orders as well. A website would her help reach out to more people and of course, make her business fluorish. She can also make a facebook page to let her friends know about the business first.
