The New Zodiac Signs

Your signs may have changed. According to astronomer Parke Kunkle, due to the Earth’s changing alignment in the last 3000 years, the sign you are born into now are different from what they were long ago. They also believe there is a 13th Zodiac sign called Ophiuchus, which falls between Scorpio and Sagittarius.

Capricorn: Jan. 20-Feb. 16.
Aquarius: Feb. 16-March 11.
Pisces: March 11-April 18.
Aries: April 18-May 13.
Taurus: May 13-June 21.
Gemini: June 21-July 20.
Cancer: July 20-Aug. 10.
Leo: Aug. 10-Sept. 16.
Virgo: Sept. 16-Oct. 30.
Libra: Oct. 30-Nov. 23.
Scorpio: Nov. 23-29.
Ophiuchus: Nov. 29-Dec. 17.
Sagittarius: Dec. 17-Jan. 20.

I used to be a Sagittarius, now I’m an Ophiuchus. Does that make sense? I’ve always felt like a Sagittarian and I’ve been enjoying being one. I’m not sure I’m ready to be an Ophiuchus, I don’t even know who that is.

Holiday Gift and Entertaining Ideas

Christmas season means there would be a lot of guests around the house. Friends and relatives would visit and of course, you will have a lot of entertaining to do and by that I mean –A LOT! One of my holiday must have for entertaining are Christmas dinnerwares and cookwares but besides that I also want the house to have a holiday feel. There would be a lot of eating so the dining table must be properly decorated to give a festive feel as well so perhaps, a red or maroon table runner, with a bowl full of spheres would give a holiday feel.

Candles would also be good in the living room but lets not forget the holiday gifts! This is the season of giving and receiving after all.

If someone would get me something from Pier 1 this Christmas, then I’d like this Gingerbread Vanila Soap and Lotion Set or ths Spiced Cranberry Soap and Lotion Set.

And I think these would be great gifts to friends. What better way to put them in a holiday mood than by giving them a Snowman Soap and Lotion Set, a Christmas Tree handsoap, Gingerbread Man soaps and Christmas Bath Puffs?? If you don’t want my picks then you can check out the other items on Pier 1, some of them are really great bargains!

Celebrating the Holidays

Sometimes celebrating the holidays becomes an issue–specially Christmas and the New Year. You think about where you would celebrate it or which side of the family you would like celebrate it with. Should you celebrate it with your side of the family or your husbands side, knowing both families would love you in theirs.

It’s a tough choice, right? It’s a good thing if you can compromise. Let’s say, agree to celebrate this year’s holiday with your side and then next year on his side or vice versa. If you can’t compromise then I suggest you just celebrate the holiday elsewhere with your kids. I’m sure you also need a break from the city. A change of environment for your family will surely do you some good.

Why not try one of those Family Holidays in Cornwall? Cornwall is famous for their mild climate, gorgeous beaches, picturesque villages and top attractions. You can enjoy them all when you stay at one of their holiday parks. If your gonna ask me, one day I’d love celebrate the holidays away with my family too. I prefer an out of the country trip or in a beach somewhere where we could relax and enjoy each other’s company. You know, a peaceful holiday.
